What is a Working Grant?
The Working Grant is an opportunity for dedicated students to offset part of their training costs through service at the studio. You’ll contribute your time and energy to support our community while deepening your own yoga journey.
Who can apply?
Anyone who feels called to the training but may need financial assistance to make it possible. Passion, commitment, and a desire to give back to the yoga community are what matter most.
How it works
- Apply using our simple online form.
- Share why this opportunity matters to you and how you envision giving your gifts to those in need.
- Commit to fulfilling your service hours during the training.
This is more than financial support; it’s a way to connect deeply with our studio family and live your practice on and off the mat.

Do I have to teach in training?
Great question! The short answer is no, you never have to teach publicly or pursue teaching after training unless you want to.
Many students join our 200-Hour Training simply to deepen their personal practice.
That said, we do ask that you participate in the teaching exercises during the program. Why? Because they’re not just about becoming a yoga teacher—they’re about becoming a clear, confident communicator.
In every conversation, we are both students and teachers. These exercises help you:
✔ Reflect on where your communication may lack clarity
✔ Learn to express what you mean without assumption
✔ Build confidence in delivering your ideas thoughtfully
So, while teaching as a career is optional, the skills you gain through these exercises will serve you in every area of life—at work, in relationships, and within yourself.
